This is a fixed term contract until 30 April 2018.
We are looking for a Finance Officer who will operate to ensure that financial transaction processing is undertaken in a timely, accurate and complete manner. You will be responsible for supporting the Financial Accounting Manager, maintaining good financial controls and financial reporting, through regular reconciliations; taking action within College financial policies; and contributing to the preparation of annual statutory accounts. You will concentrate on Financial Accounting, this role requires flexibility and you will be expected to provide support and cover within the Finance team for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking and Treasury as required.
You will have experience in processing financial transaction, credit control and performing reconciliations. An accounting technician, or equivalent, qualification is desirable.
