The Department of Physics is looking for a Graduate Admissions Administrator (Maternity Cover).

Working as part of a small busy team, you will undertake administrative support for the admissions activity of both graduate applicants and student visitors in order to assist the Department in implementing a competitive approach to recruiting graduate students.

You will have strong organisational and administrative skills and be competent in using Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will work with a high degree of accuracy and be able to provide accurate and timely responses to queries.

You must possess good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work co-operatively, efficiently and flexibly with others.

Maternity cover: This post is fixed-term for 9 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
