Salary: £29,301 to £31,076 (with progression to £38,183)

This is an opportunity to join a new, dynamic and highly motivated team who work across the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) to provide an enabling and supportive research environment that empowers researchers to deliver high quality research and impact. You will play a key role in helping the Faculty to achieve the aims and objectives that have been agreed as part of the new Faculty research strategy. You will work particularly closely with the School of Engineering to provide analysis and advice that will inform decision-making on research and engagement strategies as well as professional support to deliver intended outcomes.
You should have a degree, an equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience; an understanding of the HE sector generally and of the research environment in particular; experience of developing administrative processes in alignment with a strategic vision, and excellent interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills.
The role is full time and fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave which is expected to last until August 2018. We would welcome applications from candidates who wish to undertake the role as a secondment opportunity.
