About the role:We’re seeking to appoint an experienced professional to provide project management support and oversight for colleagues engaged in innovation and knowledge exchange projects. Working across all our sites, the successful candidate will provide operational management and delivery of a wide range of innovation and knowledge exchange projects. You’ll also contribute to the achievement of our Strategic Plan, in particular in support of our corporate goals to grow significantly the levels of external income generated by our research. This role is part of the Post-Award and Commercialisation Team within our Research and Innovation Development Office.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification at degree level, you’ll have experience of working on innovation and knowledge exchange projects as well as more general experience in managing a range of different projects. You’ll have knowledge of the requirements of external funders, particularly the European Regional Development Fund and Innovate UK. You’ll have an enthusiastic approach about supporting our colleagues to grow their engagement with businesses and the wider external community to deliver impact through innovation and knowledge exchange. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment.
