Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 9 months in the first instance.

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher to work with Professor David Klenerman and Professor Tuomas Knowles developing digital microfluidic assays to reliably detect prion-like aggregates for basic research and potential diagnostic applications

Applicants should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in biophysical chemistry or related disciplines. The candidates should have a keen interest in developing and applying technology and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment.  Previous experience of sensitive fluorescence detection, ideally in droplets, is essential
