The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with ongoing clinical research projects, assistance with clinical trials and teaching. The post covers work at Moorfields Eye Hospital with the Institute of Ophthalmology.
The position is funded for a period of 1 year in the first instance.
Applicants should be experienced ophthalmologists who have undergone training in medical retina and uveitis. Ability to laser and do intravitreal injections is necessary. Experience at recruiting patients into clinical trials and taking informed consent is required as is familiarity with CRFs. The post contributes to teaching junior ophthalmologists.
