Research associate position to develop novel viral technologies.
A research associate position is available in the Nolan lab at the University of Edinburgh (http:nolanlab.mvm.ed.ac.uk) and in collaboration with Synpromics (http://www.synpromics.com/). We are seeking to recruit a research associate to support a project generating and testing novel viral technologies in vivo. The position will include responsibility for generation of viral vectors, histological analysis and some basic molecular biology.
Candidates should have a degree, or equivalent experience, in a relevant area, strong enthusiasm for the research area, excellent oral and written communication skills (English), and should be motivated to integrate well into an interactive and highly collaborative team of international scientists.
The position is funded by the IBioIC and is for a period of up to 5 years. The starting date is negotiable from October 1st.
