This post is full time and fixed term for 12 months.
The Department seeks to appoint an exceptional Teaching Fellow with experience in the broad field of sport, exercise and/or physical activity. Expertise in our core disciplines of psychology, sociology, and research methods is particularly welcomed.
The post of Teaching Fellow will involve a significant teaching load, including during the summer period, and there may be related scholarship and the opportunity for administrative duties which relate to education and pedagogy.
Teaching Fellowships offer the opportunity of valuable experience to those early in their academic careers. This post is to cover the teaching responsibilities of colleagues who will be focusing on alternative management work for a period of time. This post is therefore for a fixed term of 12 months and it is not anticipated that the post will be extended beyond this fixed term.
Successful applicants will, ideally, be in post by 1st October 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.
