We have a vacancy for an experienced and self-motivated Senior Support Analyst to lead a team of support analysts covering first and second line support to the University staff and students for all AV and IT services. The team operates within the ITIL Service Management framework.

You must have a successful track record in a similar technical support role, including:

  • Line management experience
  • Troubleshooting and supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products, desktop and laptop hardware
  • Sound understanding of operating system security principles
  • Working knowledge of Audio Visual technologies
  • Knowledge of Apple, Linux and mobile operating systems
  • Working with a number of external suppliers

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and have a good standard of written and verbal communication commensurate to this lead role. You will be confident in communicating at all levels and will be passionate about knowledge sharing to enhance the overall quality of the team. 

You will be required to work on a one week rotating shift pattern.
