Experimental studies of molecular migration.
This post is full time and fixed term for 1.5 years.
“Molecular Migration in Complex Mixtures (MMCM)” is an EPSRC/Industry-funded research collaboration between Durham University, University of Birmingham and University of Sheffield and industrial partners, Procter and Gamble (P&G), Mondelez and Akzo Nobel. The programme targets exciting research challenges relevant to a diverse portfolio of modern consumer products. Under the project Durham University will initially recruit 2 postdoctoral research associates (PDRAs).
The successful applicants will be based at Durham University and work in close collaboration with the industrial and academic partners. The research projects aim to deliver the molecular-scale understanding of molecular migration processes that will be embedded into software to enable prediction of surface properties and therefore product performance in complex formulations. Your research will lead to direct impact on consumers around the globe and help improve product effectiveness, stability and sustainability.
