This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) registered clinical trials units in the country. The Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU) is based in the Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences, University of Birmingham and specialises in running cancer clinical trials. The Unit has an extensive portfolio of clinical trials in adults and children covering a wide range of disease sites.
We are seeking a part–time Project Officer to provide administrative and project management support for the ChiLTERN (Children’s Liver Tumour European Research Network) project. ChiLTERN is a 5-year project funded by the European Commission and is the single largest clinical trial ever undertaken amongst the paediatric population. The successful candidate will provide project support to the project manager and wider chiLTERN team. They will have formal academic qualifications, with work experience in the healthcare or educational sector, underpinned by excellent project management and communication skills.

Full time starting salary is normally in the range £26,052 to £28,452. With potential progression once in post to £32,004 a year.
