The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences strives to be excellent in teaching, research and innovation in Nursing, Midwifery and Health. These new roles provide an exciting opportunity for experienced and inspiring individuals to join our successful and highly committed team of academic staff based in the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health. The department provides high quality, dynamic education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study.

With a passion for sharing your skills, knowledge and experience, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team contributing to an exceptional student experience through the development of teaching and learning experiences in private, voluntary and independent health and social care organisations. You will identify, develop and quality assure student placements in clinical practice; develop strong collaborative partnerships with stakeholders; and provide support and guidance to Northumbria University students, mentors and placement leads.

You must have contemporary knowledge and expertise in nursing and knowledge of Nursing and Midwifery Council/Health and Care Professions Council requirements for practice learning. You will be a Registered Nurse (any field) with current professional registration and have proven skills of developing partnerships across a wide range of settings.
