Detail information about job Erasmus+ Co-ordinator. Terms and conditions vacancy

Global mobility has never been more important to UK graduates, with research suggesting mobile graduates are overall less likely to be unemployed and more likely to command a higher starting salary than their non-mobile peers. With an innovative Global Engagement Strategy at the heart of our activities, this is a great time to be part of an institution which has global values at its core.

Responsible for the delivery of a programme of opportunities for students to gain international experience as part of their UCL studies, the Study Abroad Team work to promote global student mobility across the institution, providing a range of services for students considering, preparing for, or undertaking, a study abroad placement.

This is a unique opportunity to join our small, vibrant and hard-working team at the heart of UCL’s busy student-facing support service on a two-year contract in the first instance from start date.

As Erasmus+ Coordinator for the UCL Study Abroad Team, you will be responsible for delivery of a high-quality Erasmus+ experience for all participants in UCL’s Key Action 1 projects, as well as ensuring that they are implemented in compliance with the programme rules and regulations. The post-holder will be expected to provide operational support in all aspects of programme delivery, with a focus on student mobility. Responsibilities will include record-keeping, participant documentation management, process design and implementation, budget management and reporting. This work will be undertaken in collaboration with colleagues in the Study Abroad Team, wider Student Support and Wellbeing Team, across Student and Registry Services and from other divisions of the organisation, notably the Global Engagement Office, Vice Provost Education Office, Student Recruitment Marketing, UCL Careers and academic departments.

This post is available for two years in the first instance from start date.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills, be able to work autonomously and with a team when required and be comfortable liaising with a wide range of people at different levels of the organisation and external agencies. You should have excellent attention to detail and be confident using a range of technology to accomplish your work. You should have demonstrable prior experience of managing European mobility projects, preferably within Erasmus+.

If you are a motivated, organised and committed team player with a strong background in European mobility, then this may be the role for you!
