The University of Cambridge Investment Office was the first in-house asset management operation in the UK tertiary education sector. A high performing investment team of six and operation team of three manage assets of around £2.9 billion on behalf of the University, its Trusts and certain Colleges. We now seek an Operations Analyst to work across the teams, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong proven record in financial or statistical analysis in a complex commercial or academic environment. The role will involve monitoring, analysing, and reporting on asset classes and fund managers, supporting the delivery of clear, concise and accurate reports to the Investment Board and other key stakeholders. Additional duties will include investment transaction flow and other relevant operational activity. A candidate working towards the completion of a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

A salary between £32 - £42,000 is offered for a full-time position, but a part-time position can be considered. The role will be based in Cambridge.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic disclosure (criminal records check) check, a health assessment and a security check.
