We wish to appoint three Simons Postdoctoral Fellows to contribute to the development of a programme of high quality research as part of the Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain and the Patrick Wild Centre, University of Edinburgh College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. Applicant should have relevant experience using either behavioural assessment of rat models of ASD/ID and/or in vitro imaging and physiological assessment of pre- and post-synaptic function and/or in vivo imaging and/or physiological assessment of pre- and post-synaptic function. Appropriate degree, with relevant post-graduate research experience, normally a PhD or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience in cellular, molecular or systems area of neuroscience is required. Expertise in relevant approaches and models, analytical techniques and methods experiments is required.
