About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging professional with successful teaching and assessing experience; to provide high quality learning to our students. The successful post holders will have an effective communication style and possess excellent interpersonal skills, with experience of working collaboratively with other Health and Social Care professionals.
An experienced and effective teacher (or with evidence to suggest you will develop into an effective teaching in higher education environments) you will further enrich the student’s experience through your expertise in relevant subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and experience of working within clinical practice.
About the Role
Based in Manchester; this role requires extensive experience in the field of perioperative practice and must be HCPC/NMC registered. You will contribute to the design, planning and development of programmes and act as a personal tutor for students as part of a dedicated team of perioperative educators. Activities will include planning modules, teaching, participating in marking & moderating and being actively engaged in scholarship and research activity.
Post holders will be involved in academic work in the University, including the teaching of students across the undergraduate and post graduate allied health portfolio, and the development of teaching skills. You will also support the development of practice placements, guide and assist practice mentors in ensuring the best facilities for practice based learning and assessment, and support students in the practice area.
