Temporary contract until 31 March 2019
Applications are invited for one Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Geography at the Open University. The RA will work under the supervision of Parvati Raghuram and Bart Rienties on the ESRC funded project Facilitating equitable access and quality education for development: South African International Distance Education. Other project members include Clare Madge (University of Leicester), Ashley Gunter and Paul Prinsloo (University of South Africa).
You should have a PhD in Human Geography, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Education, Development Studies or associated fields. You will have some knowledge of some of the following: migration, race, development, and international education, distance education, online methods, South Africa, global South. The ability to travel to the study countries if required is a pre-requisite.
