About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an International Partnerships Office Commercial Manager reporting directly to the Head of International Partnerships Office (IPO), and working closely with IPO staff members and various internal departments at Regent’s University London as well as external stakeholders.

As IPO Commercial Manager you will have key responsibilities in leading all commercial IPO related activities, including fee-paying inbound study abroad students and short courses. You will ensure that usage of Regent’s facilities is maximised, and that arrangements for smooth running of faculty-led groups are in place. You will also assist the Head of the IPO and the team in the planning, organisation and running of an annual conference on campus to ultimately raise the profile of Regent’s.

Among the responsibilities you will line manage the Inbound Team members. You will maintain and strengthen current partnerships and will develop new professional relationships with overseas institutions for the benefit of Regent’s. This role requires very good project, account and time management skills as well as the ability to work in a busy office environment. A flexible approach to work and tasks is essential.

Skills and experience required

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of working with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds
  • Experience of working within a customer-focused environment
  • Experience of working in an organisational role, proven experience of successfully coordinating projects
  • Experience of working with demanding clients and/or high level management staff
  • Demonstrable experience in financial administration
  • Ability to perform under pressure while working professionally
