A Lecturer’s post in Adult Nursing has arisen to be based in Carlisle. You will be expected to contribute to teaching and will have a role, along with other colleagues, in student support, practice learning, student recruitment, and enhancing the current programme. You will also contribute to the new curriculum for the BSc in Adult Nursing (Hons) due for revalidation in 2018/19. Candidates who have expertise and experience in end-of-life care/management of long-term conditions as well as broader skills in Adult Nursing would be welcome.

The Department of Nursing, Health and Professional Practice is a diverse department consisting of a number of teams of healthcare professionals. Programmes are offered to students in the four fields of nursing, continuous professional development, midwifery, paramedic practice, and primary care, as well as counselling and advanced practice. The department has a growing research profile and staff with a wide range of practice experience which informs the teaching of both profession specific and interprofessional programme content.
