Do you have a background in Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs) with experience of monitoring or audit and writing SOPs? Alternatively, do you currently have a GCP Quality Assurance role and are tired of travelling long distances multiple times a year?

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Assurance Specialists with knowledge and experience of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) to work in the CTRG team within Research Services.

The role of the CTRG team is to ensure that clinical research involving human participants in the University is compliant with the applicable governance and/or regulations through the provision of advice, support and guidance to researchers.

You will be part of a team of QA specialists, drawing on your experience in clinical trials, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and related audit and inspection requirements to support Oxford’s leading role in improving health care through clinical trials.

This is an important post making significant contributions to the oversight of the regulatory compliance on behalf of the University of Oxford as Clinical Trial Sponsor. You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of quality management systems within the University. A practical background in applying GCP principles in clinical trials is required, together with experience of monitoring and/or audit.

Educated to degree level, you will be an excellent communicator, able to prioritise workload, and to work effectively under pressure both independently and as a member of a team.

CTRG are based at the Joint Research Office which is on the Churchill Hospital site in Oxford. The position is available full or part-time (80-100% FTE).
