We have a vacancy to join our high-performance team as a Traffic Signs Technician in Hamilton based from our regional office in Avalon.
You will be given hands-on training and learn the requirements and methodology for the day to day installation and maintenance of traffic signs across the Waikato region.
To be considered for this role there are some basic requirements you must have:
- be reliable and keen to learn and work, with a positive can-do attitude;
- have a clean, full Class 1 drivers licence and capable of driving a manual vehicle;
- be in good physical condition;
- enjoy physical work including digging, lifting and general manual handling;
- be at ease working at height, on ladders or elevated work platforms;
- be able to read plans with a logical approach to and sequencing of your work;
- be able to work predominately on your own and occasionally within a team;
- keep accurate work records and be comfortable using a computer as much of our record keeping is computer based;
- proactively look after your own health and safety and input to the team's safety;
- have pride in your work and manage your own quality of work.

Other qualifications and training that would be of benefit but not essential are:
- traffic management such as TC or Level 1 STMS;
- Site Safe and Construct Safe;
