About the Employer 
Our client is a leader in supply of timber, kiln dried processing, air pollution control, air movement and filtration. The company's Auckland office now has a new position available.
    
About the Role 
The primary purpose of the role is the set up and operation of a high speed metal punching machines. Full training and supervision will be provided. The successful candidate will also be the backup person for light production and stores work.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assistant Metex machine setter and operator, taking lead role after successful training
• Production of expanded metals for stock, customer and OEM sales
• Quality control
• Movement of stock into storage
• Machine routine and breakdown maintenance
• Assist of air filtration production
• Assist in general stores duties

To be successful for this role you must have the following: 

• Clean drivers licence
• Fork lift licence or experience so licence can be obtained with ease
• Mature, settled, proven reliability
• Good English language and comprehension skills
• Fit- will need to pass full medical, including D&A. Strict H&S environment applies
• Mechanical experience at a minimum. Measuring, use of tools etc.
• Quality conscious
• Flexible, team player- small team within a large organization.
