The Company
My client has operations around the world and manufacturing plants in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. They have experienced a 50% growth in the last two years and have a turnover of $30 million. They are located in East Tamaki which allows for parking and easy access to the motorways.
The Role
As the Accountant you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller within a team of three. You will be responsible for several different duties, but initially there will be a large focus on Inventory. You will then be looking after stock for the business, dealing with stock costing, reconciliations and adjustments. You will also be dealing with process improvement for the wider finance area and setting procedures around some of the transactional processes.
Your Profile
You will have experience working as an Accountant for at least 4 years. You will have strong reconciliation skills and some exposure to stock would be beneficial. You will intermediate to advance excel skills and excellent communication skills. You will be comfortable working in an organization that continues to grow and be hands on to help develop that growth. You will enjoy taking ownership of the projects and have the ability to think outside of the box.
