Operator / Labourer

We are recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator / Labourer to join our team at our Refuse Transfer Station team based in Maleme St - Tauranga. Working on site, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining a safe, and hazard free site, safely operating machinery (forklift and loader) in order to compact and move refuse.

Working with heavy machinery, you will be health and safety focused and follow SOP's at all times.

This is a great role where you can grow and learn more skills on the job. Full on the job training will be provided with your induction.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
o Class 1 licence with F endorsement
o 1+ years' experience operating machinery
o Proven labouring experience
o A good understanding, and working knowledge of Health and Safety matters
o Self-managing and respectful demeanour

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drugs test) and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records check the results of which must be to EnviroNZ's satisfaction.
