Our client needs a mechanical trades assistant to support the local rail industry both freight and passenger in Wellington. Working on the air conditioning and automotive of the trains.

We are looking with someone ideally with an engineering or automotive NZQA Level 4 or 5 qualification or 5+ years of relevant experience.

This is a temporary placement however for the right person it could turn into full time work.

All candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening including:

Drug screening
Ministry of Justice Checks
Pre-Employment medicals
OHS safety training and assessment
