We are looking for a physically fit, energetic fitter to join our maintenance team. This position offers a wide variety of work and the plant onsite is modern and kept to a high standard of appearance and performance.
The ideal candidate will be a trade qualified fitter with significant experience in a high-production manufacturing environment but other suitably experienced persons will be considered. Sawmilling or timber remanufacturing experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Of particular advantage would be experience fault finding in a remanufacturing environment.
The successful applicant will be able to work well as part of a team while also being capable of working well on their own with minimal supervision. The ability to communicate effectively and a keen eye for detail are key aspects of this role. This role forms part of a rotating roster system with day and night shift with some weekend and on-call work required.
