About the company:
Our client is the South Island’s premier producer of made to order granite, marble, quartz & porcelain products for residential and commercial projects.

About the role:
Experience in bench top polishing/fabrication or monumental stone masonry required. Further training is available.  Our client is seeking a self-motivated and quality focused team member.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Crafting bespoke products based on supplied templates and plans
• Skilled fabrication, shaping & polishing
• Proficiency in the use of workshop equipment and consumable products

  
To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• A high standard of workmanship and pride in your work
• Self-motivation and a good level of strength and fitness. Some heavy lifting is required.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, including personal training and development
• An ability to get on with co-workers and become a strong, dependable part of the team
• Care about the health & safety of yourself and your colleagues
• Experience in stone masonry or bench top polishing/fabrication
• Experience with reading plans and good numerical skills
• Good English
