Are you customer focused and an independent individual?
Are you interested in joining an organisation which are experts in Battery Technology and has the support of the household brand the AA.
An opportunity has arisen within AA batteries, and the role will service our customers in the Hamilton/ Waikato/BOP Area.
The successful candidates will inherit a portfolio of customers which will require fortnightly visits and product replenishment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering batteries and Maintaining a regular service frequency to your entire customer base
- Including travel to the Bay of Plenty region.
- Ensuring that the relevant documentation is raised on each sale
- Warehousing duties as directed
- Becoming a subject matter expert and providing insight to customers
- Building long term relationships with customers
To ensure a smooth transition into the role you will ideally possess the following;
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with customer interaction
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as invoicing
- A current drivers licence
- A commitment to a "safety first" policy including manual handling
Please note this position involves regular heavy lifting of batteries, which weigh an average of 20kg each.
Although not essential, the following skills would also be advantageous:
• Experience in the Motor Vehicle trade
• Previous battery experience or knowledge
