Platinum Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join the team at this fantastic CA firm in Dunedin. Opportunity to work with diverse clients in their excellent team!

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Process payroll for clients of this CA firm (casual, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly)
• Maintain payroll information and employee records and keep up to date with changes
• Preparation of reports, including earnings, taxes, leave, and deductions, such as KiwiSaver
• Calculations including: student loan repayments, child support payments and KiwiSaver contributions
• Identify payroll liability and resolve discrepancies through analysis of information
• Keeping up to date with legislative changes and regulations and ensuring payroll follows policies and procedures
• Providing clients with payroll information and responding to enquiries

The ideal candidate will:

• Have prior payroll experience
• Understanding and use of: PAYE system, Microsoft packages, and Payroll systems
• Understanding of payroll legislation and ability to keep abreast of changes to legislation
• Ability to work in a team, but a self-starter
• Be organised and manage own time to meet deadlines
• Customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
