Aggreko has a great opportunity for experienced and equally determined Electrical Service Technician to maximise the availability of Aggreko's Temperature Control and Power rental assets at our Auckland depot and surrounding locations.

This position will report into the Operations Manager and you will be responsible for;   

• Carrying out the total maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets
• Maintaining the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and maintained 
• Providing contribution to optimise team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment.
• Timely and effectively carry out; internal maintenance and repairs and at times customer site installations / removals.
• Ensuring equipment and quality satisfaction is delivered 
• Perform all electrical and some mechanical repairs and checking of company assets in accordance with the company's policy.
• Maintain and enhance relationships and communication with internal and external customers.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required.
• Accurately complete Service Order paperwork;
• Work in a safe manner abiding by the company policy.
• Localised travel as required to project sites/regional depots.

To be successful in this role you will be an exceptional communicator with a strong customer focus and the ability to work under pressure and unsupervised. You will be willing to work on call as needed, be flexible to travel at short notice, pass a drug and alcohol test and successfully complete a National Police clearance.  The successful candidate requires a trade qualification as an Electrician and will need to supported by current documentation and valid Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence.
