Our Napier contracting operation’s Mechanical Workshop supports our contracting and affiliated businesses, in terms of ensuring that plant and vehicles are maintained and operated according to the highest standards.

We are now looking for an experienced Mechanic and a Diesel Mechanic apprentice to operate in the field to ensure our plant and vehicle fleet operates to maximum performance.

You will facilitate the repair and maintenance of the company vehicles and equipment associated with our Napier contracting business. This includes trucks, trailers and heavy machinery.

We would be keen to hear from Diesel Mechanic apprentices as well!

Skills and experience required:

• Minimum Full, Clean Class 2 Driver Licence required (Class 4 Licence preferred but not essential)

• Reasonable level of physical fitness, due to physical nature of role

• Excellent communication skills

• Committed to the highest standards of Health and Safety

• Relevant qualification/apprenticeship would be preferable

• For this position flexibility around overtime and call outs are required.
