The Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in Christchurch. You will be working in our workshop, performing repairs of major appliances in our workshop and helping to train our Apprentices. The role will be supporting the technical team throughout Christchurch, so you may be required to complete service calls, repairing appliances in customer homes, dealer showrooms or warehouses.
The Person
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who takes pride in providing quality technical service and an exceptional customer experience. You'll need to excel at listening, understand complex information and solve problems with positive, long term solutions. You will thrive in an independent environment, have sound time management skills and a strong ethos of personal responsibility.
Your extensive practical experience servicing appliances must be backed up with a relevant qualification and a solid work history. You will have also completed EST A and/or B. Experience servicing all whiteware products through hands on experience would be an advantage.
Experience required:
- 3 - 5 years appliance repair and troubleshooting experience
- Professional qualification - Electrical Service Technician, Appliance Service Technician
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong PC skills
All training and ongoing support will be provided.
