Your new company
Our client is a reputable contractor working on a variety of projects across Christchurch and Canterbury. Due to an increase in work in their maintenance and servicing team, they are now in need of an HVAC Technician to join them on an ongoing temporary basis.
Your new role
You will work in a team diagnosing causes of problems in HVAC systems for the purpose of identifying necessary repairs or replacements. You will install HVAC equipment and systems for the purpose of providing enhancement, and perform routine and preventative maintenance as well as repairs as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified HVAC/Refrigeration technician with previous experience installing such appliances. Exemption licence if your qualifications are from overseas will be preferred but not mandatory, as well as a valid work permit. You have all tickets required in your trade. If your qualifications are from overseas, you are in Christchurch with a valid work visa. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to liaise between clients and customers and be confident in your abilities as an installer.
