The service team works well complimenting the sales and engineering teams and whilst working hard they also like to have fun.
Based in Christchurch, they are looking for someone who has hydraulic industry experience, and who is wanting to expand their industry knowledge.
Their Service Technicians are the sort of people who think outside the box, enjoy problem solving and love to know how things work!
They work in a great team environment, in a clean and tidy workshop and demand a high standard of work from within the team.
They like to give their customers the best possible service and support.
We are looking for someone who can:
• complete a variety of hydraulic service work to a high quality and in an efficient manner
• fit, fabricate and assemble metal parts into products and subassemblies
• fault diagnose, repair and maintain machines, mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
• complete hydraulic pipe work including cutting, threading, bending and installing
• talk to customers as required to provide progress updates, and to help maintain good relationships
• think outside the box
• work well alone or within a team
• communicate clearly and respectfully
You also need to have:
• a desire to learn
• skills in fault finding for a variety of applications
• knowledge of a variety of hydraulic products
• abilities to test and diagnose a range of hydraulic components and systems
• abilities to repair a range of hydraulic components to a high standard
Being Trade Qualified or having significant industry experience in machining and welding would be a definite advantage.
