Knightsbridge Village is a leading Retirement Village on Auckland's North Shore and part of the Arena Living Group. It is an independent living village comprising 12 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens surrounding our 156 villas and apartment building and large community areas, bowling green, swimming pool. Our intention at Knightsbridge is to provide our residents with outstanding service.
This role is vitally important for the maintenance of our assets and the satisfaction of our residents. It a high energy role that will provide lots of variety but requires broad experience and knowledge in areas such as building warrant of fitness, heating systems through to general home handyman tasks. Managing tradesmen. You will work in a great team environment and meet lots of village residents who expect a high standard of work. The team takes pride in a well maintained village.
You must have:
Minimum 5 years experience in your trade or a similar role
Great Initiative and can do attitude
Be physically fit
Able to work unsupervised and have good organisational skills
Current NZ drivers licence
Health and Safety awareness and experience
Ability to turn your hand to a variety of tasks
Great customer service attitude.
Preferred:
Experience in a similar role (retirement village/ hotels/ apartments etc)
Current first aid certificate
Trade certificate – (e.g builder, cabinet maker, electrician) with at least 5 years experience
Computer literate
