We are currently recruiting on behalf of a couple of Christchurch based engineering firms for a welding assistant. The successful candidate must have had previous metal work experience.
The successful candidate will
- have completed an apprenticeship, pre trade course or engineering course (such as welding or fabrication).
- proven hand tools/welding experience
Duties will include:
- Assisting a fabricator welder
- Some basic MIG welding
- Drilling
- Grinding
- Measuring
- Cutting
We currently have roles that are ongoing, and have great opportunities to progress in the company & short term roles.
