About your new role
Reporting to the Team Manager, we are looking for Labourers to take total Ownership of either the Spraying or Weed eating duties for the Christchurch parks.
The Spray position involves but is not limited to spray operations and vegetation control; including plant and pest identification, application of organic herbicide to control weeds, general parks vegetation maintenance, planting, rubbish collection and turf maintenance.
The Edger position involves but is not limited to working closely with the mowing team to complete the weed eating and edging.
At all times you will work with the wider team to assist with annual clean-up.
About you
- A great work ethic and positive attitude is essential for this role
- Ideally you will have previous experience spraying using a gator or using weed eater
- It would be great if you have a current Growsafe Certificate, however not essential
- You will be a hardworking, reliable team player and demonstrate a positive attitude and behaviours towards working safely
- You must have a current, full driver license and have the ability to drive a manual vehicle
