You will be joining a team that have been the local experts in Engineering, Manufacturing and Refrigeration for decades. They grown to be a global leader in design and delivering specialist freeze drying equipment, picking up accolades and awards along the way. With a diverse range of services, they always have "something big on the go", keeping the team on their toes. With explosive growth the company is looking to scale their team with highly experienced tradesman.

In a typical days work
This predominantly workshop based role will see you welding everything from thin pipe to heavy plate on multi-million dollar jobs. You will be fabricating to tight tolerances where even a slight measurement error would be disaster. Working with an established team of professionals you will have the proper guidance and training to see you succeed.

In the well equipped workshop you will use over-head cranes, a variety of machinery and power-tools. Health & Safety is always #1 and your input to maintaining a safe environment for all is paramount.

Are you up to the challenge?
We are looking for TOP Trade Engineers who can prove their capabilities on a range of steel projects. To be eligible for this position you MUST meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current NZ Welding certificate
• Have proven industry experience in Mild Steel fabrication
• Well organised and sound documentation of works completed
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order
• Punctual and reliable
• Health and safety focused
