Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its team.  In addition to the traditional fund accounting aspects of this role, we are looking for candidate who has a wider range of experience:

This role has a tax compliance component which includes ICA's, SOTI and tax returns so we are seeking a candidate who has had exposure to financial accounting as well as Portfolio Investment Entities as well as other investment products/asset classes.  A good understanding of performing and accounting standards and the ability to effectively prioritise workloads and work to very tight reporting timeframes are essential.

The position deals with a wide range of people and levels within and outside the organisation, so the successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.

You will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Business or Finance and ideally be CA qualified.
• Experience with Pricing, General Ledger and Investment packages/systems
• Demonstrable analytical skills
• Strong working knowledge of Risk & Compliance from both a tax and regulation perspective.
