About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for servicing the Manawatu district facilities. This is a permanent part-time position - 56 hours per fortnight, working 4 days one week and 3 days the second week, including weekends. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining toilet blocks, rubbish collection and disposal, BBQ cleaning and general tidiness of the allocated site, whilst keeping yourself and others safe. At times, you may be required to assist the wider Manawatu team.
About you
- A positive attitude and great work ethic is key
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred
- Take pride in your work and have an attention to detail
- A current full driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential
- Enjoy working outdoors and have a good level of fitness.
- Be dependable, adaptable, punctual, co-operative and maintain positive working relationships
- Be able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays to provide a full facilities maintenance service
