We work around the clock developing and taking care of our nation's open and green spaces, waterways and coastal areas, roading networks, buildings and public facilities, water, wastewater and stormwater networks.
We need an experienced and reliable Handyman to join our Building Maintenance Team based in Tauranga. If you want to ensure that Tauranga's public and residential building portfolio are safe and sturdy then we want to hear from you.
As a Handyman for the Building Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of commercial and residential buildings in a reactive and scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications. A key part of this role will include the completion of condition asset surveys. You'll have a track record of creating strong professional end to end relationships with an eye for detail and quality. This role will also includes completing inspections and repairs, identifying opportunities for improvements, proactively solving issues, assisting the wider Tauranga team and ensuring one's own health and safety while creating a safe environment for others.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and a full Class 1 Drivers Licence. You will be physically fit, a proactive self starter with initiative, able to work to deadlines and consider yourself to be a 'Jack of all Trades'.
