We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Recreation Division based in Nelson.
This is a fast paced and important role within the team that requires a proven strategic thinker with sound leadership.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build sound relationships both internal and external. You will have an exemplary track record of being able to co-ordinate multiple priorities at the same time, all the while achieving quality outcomes.
You will be responsible for managing numerous projects, within budget and time frames, and ensuring client expectations are achieved.
Duties include:
- Oversee Mowing, Turf Services, Parks & Reserves, and Facilities Maintenance activities. This involves management of staff, services and resources in order to deliver business excellence.
- Develop and promote Nelmac’s Recreation services in the Nelson area in order to protect and enhance Nelmac’s reputation as a preferred supplier
- Ensure safe, profitable and sustainable performance of the team in order to meet business targets – this includes management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting of results.
