Diesel Mechanics required for the greater Whangarei Regions
Due to the forever increasing workload, a number of opportunities has arisen within a number of our clients for the position of full-time Diesel Mechanics.
The workload is varied; however, the bulk of our work is service and repairs of Heavy & light diesel vehicles and trailers.
Our ideal candidate would need to demonstrate the following skills.
• Previous experience with diesel engines, components and vehicles
• Good diagnostic skills
• The ability and willingness to learn
• Team player with good communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Can work unsupervised
• Solid work ethic
Tasks would include:
-Diagnosing mechanical & electrical faults, some welding.
-Removal, repair & replacement of components such as engines, transmission's, differentials, brakes, suspension & steering
-All manner of regular servicing & COF repairs
-Applicants must have a minimum of Class 2 and Class 5 is an added bonus
