Our client is a market leader in the heat pump and ventilation and are expanding their Christchurch team to keep up with demand. 

They are seeking an organised, professional service technician who will be responsible for the diagnostic fault finding, repairs and service of heat pump units within the residential sector.

Your daily tasks will include: 
  • Checking electrical terminals and gas pressures of outdoor units 
  • Cleaning air filters and coils 
  • Checking noise levels of fan motors 
  • Checking general unit function 
Ideally you will have a number of years experience in the trade with a supporting trade qualification. You must be able to work unsupervised as you will be working autonomously most days. NZ Registration with a current ETS Certificate is preferred. 

You must also: 
  • Hold a full class 1 drivers licence 
  • Have a clean criminal history 
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen 
  • Be able to provide 2 contactable work related references 
  • Be able to demonstrate sounds judgment and decision making skills 
  • Have a high level of effective communication 
  • Be presentable and professional 
  • Have experience in customer service and dealing with the client directly 
You must have NZ residency or citizenship to be considered for this role. Those who are applying for outside of NZ will not be considered.
