The Opportunity
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is keen to start or further a career in utilities. The role will see you involved in daily operation of all utilities operations including water main and service construction, including installation of pipe and fittings, pipe welding, testing and disinfection, connections and commissioning.
There is a requirement to be on an after hours call out roster, therefore we are looking for candidates who are flexible and reliable.
The Candidate
For the right candidate who is genuinely interested in this area of work, we will help you work towards your qualifications.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Level 3 National Certificate in Water Reticulation or working towards;
- Full Class 2 drivers licence, WTR endorsements desired but not essential;
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the water construction;
- Self-motivation and strong problem solving abilities;
- Passionate about safety and quality in the workplace.
