Production Worker

Are you looking for fresh start? We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join our precast manufacturing team in Hastings.

You will be part of a small tight knit team, working in the precast section of our manufacturing plant. You don’t need experience in concrete, but we want you to be hardworking and determined, this a great opportunity to get into permanent full time work.

If you are seeking consistent full time work and aren't afraid of hard work we want to hear from you! You must be a safety focused individual, that is willing to go beyond the call of duty and takes a positive approach to everything they do! This role is for someone that enjoys manual labour; you need to be able to lift objects up to 25kgs in weight. You will constantly be learning new skills and information to improve work methods and product quality.

Daily tasks include; understanding drawings required for each product manufactured; preparing, assembling, checking and cleaning moulds; making reinforcing cages; pouring concrete; inspecting product for defects and repairing it where possible.

You must be self-motivated, punctual, work well in a team environment and have your own reliable transport.

The work hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 6AM till 3PM, however occasional extra hours may be required.
