TLJ Switchgear Ltd is a Christchurch based Electrical Switchboard and Control Systems manufacturer, with a sound reputation for quality, design and timeliness.

We are looking for a Contract Handler (Experienced Registered Electrician) to join our estimating and engineering team.

Suitable applicants will:

• Be a Registered Electrician, with a current Practicing Licence
• Have ‘on the coal face’ site experience with staff and projects
• Be familiar with electrical switchboards and installations
• Have experience in Electrical Industrial, Commercial, Infrastructure work
• Have a strong understanding of Electrical Distribution and Control Systems
• Have experience with fault finding in the field
• Be time management and deadline driven
• Have the ability to work in a team environment

Position requires:

• Design and Engineering of electrical switchboards and control systems
• Design and Engineer modifications to existing switchboards, with H&S compliance in mind
• Estimating
• Registered Electrician with a current Practicing Licence
• Working with Internal quality systems (ISO 9001-2015) and Health and Safety Management Systems

Applicants:

• Position may suit an experienced Electrician
• Experience in Switchboard installation
• A good understanding of electrical systems.
