Whakatane Based

Aquaheat Facility Services Limited, based in Whakatane is recruiting for a Plumber/Gasfitter.

Reporting to the Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing general plumbing/gasfitting services to ensure all commercial, domestic and industrial planned and reactive plumbing/gasfitting maintenance, remedial work, fault diagnostics and installation works are carried out.

To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:

• Must have completed a four year apprenticeship and completed a National Certificate in Plumbing and Gasfitting
• Hold a current NZ registration and licence as a Plumber/Gasfitter in accordance with the requirements of the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayer's Board
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in associated activities
• Current NZ Manual Drivers Licence
• Service and maintenance background with commercial experience
• A proven background in plumbing, maintenance, servicing and remedial repairs
• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
