Our client is an industry leader and highly respected in the Logistics industry, providing supply chain solutions for global restaurant chains. Based within the suburb of Sockburn, Christchurch we are now seeking to employ an experienced Cleaner to support the needs of their business. This is a part-time role which will see you working 3-4 hours over the course of Monday, Wednesday and Fridays

You must have previous experience as the role involves sanitation, cleaning in and around the racking, sweeping the corners of the yard, spot cleaning of walls, floors and fixtures/fittings where required. You'll also be responsible for the cleaning of staffing facilities.

Your role will include however not be limited to:

• Cleaning of preparation benches, trolleys and equipment.
• Carrying out cleaning duties as per policies and procedures in the HACCP plan.
• General cleaning of factory floors.
• Following WHS policies and procedures.
• Adhering to all Safe Operating Procedures.
• Operating in a safe and organised manner and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.

To be successful for this role you MUST meet the following key selection criteria:

• Previous experience working within the cleaning industry (industrial or commercial environments - not residential)
• Be physically fit (lift up to 20kg).
• Knowledge of chemical application and correct use of chemicals.
• Understanding of the importance of Food Safety, Hygiene and Sanitation.
• Ability to work together in a team as part of a busy environment or can work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills.
