We are a well-established successful security solutions company based in Whangarei that pride themselves on their professionalism, ethics and workmanship.
Our company services residential through to large commercial and industrial sites. Due to growth we have vacancies for security technicians to provide quality service and installation of alarm systems, CCTV and access control.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical application of:
• Electronic security legislation, codes of practice and standards applicable to electronic security
• Electronic security sub-systems and terminology
• Fundamental concepts of telecommunications
• Components of security systems and their interconnectivity
• Installation of cable support systems
Your previous installation experience will include some, or all of, fog cannons, access control systems, CCTV, intercoms, residential intruder alarms.
You will be physically fit, place high importance on customer service and have exceptional communication skills along with the ability to record information and meet the administrative tasks of the role.
Good presentation, strong diagnostic and problem solving skills, self-motivation and ability to work to deadlines are essential along with a clean criminal record and full class 1 NZ Drivers Licence.
Consideration may be given for those that have worked as electricians, IT or electronics but ideally we are looking for experienced technicians.
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday and working on a rotational roster for after hours on call jobs.
